Castor Oil

Castor Oil is a great oil for hair.  I have used it to grow out my hair.  My hair use to be longest in the back.  Since I have been using Castor oil, my hair in the front has caught up with the back.  I am loving my hair lately.

My hair was relaxed basically since 7 or 8.  I started to go natural 4 years ago.  So I'm 27 now,  I started my journey at around age 23.  And yes, it's been a journey.

I will talk more about my natural hair journey another time.  Since going natural I have changed mostly all my products to natural.  No more blue magic hair grease.  I have used many natural oil's in the past.  I have used Africa's best hair oil,  all natural olive oil, and my other favorite coconut oil.

iherb.com has some great natural products for cheap.  I only shop there when I don't have time to go look for products at the store.  Not many stores carry natural products.  I find myself going to the cooking isles to get most of my oils.  I also use vinegar, eggs, and much more.

Castor oil has been a real joy, because it has grown my hair so much.  No other oil has gave me the length that this oil does.  I use regular Castor oil.  Some people use Black Jamaican Oil.  Either is fine, I'm sure they all are the same, but don't know.  All I do know is this oil has gave me the desires of my heart.  Many people on YouTube have claimed that this oil will grow your hair longer and faster.  Well I decided to give it a try because who wouldn't want long healthy hair.  Going natural has already grew my hair longer, because relaxers can do alot damage.  So I rest my case give Castor oil a try.  The oil is for all races.

I use coconut oil for my hair strands, and I use cast or oil for my scalp.  Castor oil is a little heavy, so I use a small baby jar with a mix of Castor oil and coconut oil, to thin out the greasiness.  I have fine hair and, my hair strands don't take this oil well. But it's healthy for my scalp.  I saw a video on YouTube about mixing the two oils.  You can even buy the oils coconut and Castor oil already mixed, but it will cost you more money.

The oil doesn't cost that much.  On iherb.com the oil I bout is from Heritage store, it called The Palma Chrisit Castor Oil. Pure, cold pressed, top quality oil.  You can use the oil for various purposes, I just use it for my hair.
